Juventus have begun contacts with Sassuolo over a transfer for Domenico Berardi as they turn their attention away from Angel Di Maria. The Bianconeri were reportedly close to agreeing terms with the Argentine winger, but he may opt for a return to Spain where Barcelona are interested in acquiring him.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that as Di Maria looks unlikely to accept Juve’s offer, they have turned their focus to Berardi.
According to Di Marzio, the Italy international is available for around €30m this summer and Juve are on the lookout for new attacking wingers as they look to replace both Federico Bernardeschi and Paulo Dybala.
Fellow Serie A side Roma are reported to be interested in Berardi as well, but they will only make a move if Nicolò Zaniolo leaves them this summer.
Juve are also looking at Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic and Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk.
