Juventus are set to go head-to-head with Atalanta in the race to sign talented Spezia youngster Emil Holm. Both clubs are in the market for a right-back, with Juve having released Juan Cuadrado, while La Dea need a capable young deputy that can play in place of Davide Zappacosta and Sead Kolasinac.
Sky Sport Italia and a host of other Italian news sites have linked Holm with Atalanta this summer, but the club are yet to make a firm bid to Spezia for 23-year-old.
Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo reports that Juve director Cristiano Giuntoli is ready to push ahead in the clubs pursuit of Holm, and talks have already begun between the Bianconeri and La Spezia.
The Old Lady are looking to confirm some players sales before diverting funds to Holms’ purchase, namely Matias Soule and Samuel Iling-Junior.
