Inter are considering the sale of winger Joaquin Correa and replacing him with free agent Alexis Sanchez. The Argentine has struggled to replicate his Lazio form in Milan, scoring just 4 goals in 40 appearances last season, prompting Inter to assess his future at the club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Nerazzurri are now in talks with La Liga side Sevilla, who are interested in signing Correa, but they’ll also need to convince the 29-year-old of the move.
Should the deal go through, the suggestion is that Inter will sign Sanchez on a free transfer as Correa’s direct replacement, with the Chilean very keen on returning to his former club.
Correa joined Inter on loan in 2021 with the deal including an obligation to sign him outright in summer 2022.
