Fiorentina: ‘Done deal for M’Bala Nzola’

Start

Fiorentina sporting director Joe Barone confirmed that the club have agreed a deal with Spezia to sign striker M’Bala Nzola. News broke yesterday that La Viola were looking to overhaul their strike force by selling Arthur Cabral and Luka Jovic, while bringing in Nzola and Argentine youngster Lucas Beltran.

Sky Sport Italia reported that a deal was close to being agreed with La Spezia for the Angolan striker, with just the final details to be agreed upon.

Representatives from both sides met yesterday evening to finalise the move, with the deal expected to cost Fiorentina approximately €13 million in total.

Speaking upon leaving dinner with the players agent, Barone confirmed that the deal was done, saying:

“We have found an agreement, tomorrow we will work on the signatures. We are very happy to bring Nzola to Fiorentina, I want to thank especially Spezia. He will arrive on an outright basis. We hope to have him with us tomorrow. Cabral in the home stretch to join Benfica? Yes, that’s right.”
