Inter are set to meet with the lawyer representing Romelu Lukaku over a potential return to the club. The 29-year-old left Italy last summer, returning to Chelsea where he previously played in 2014. Despite the £100 million move, the Belgian striker has struggled to find a place in the squad and is reportedly looking to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Il Corriere dello Sport report that Inter are set to meet with Lukaku’s lawyer Sebastien Ledure tomorrow to try and find a formula for his return.
According to the report, Inter can only hope to secure Lukaku on loan for the moment, and for no longer than 12 months due to new regulations that do not provide for a longer duration of 12 months for temporary transfers.
Journalist Fabrizio Biasin has also confirmed the news, stating Lukaku’s lawyer will be in Milan to meet with Inter tomorrow.
