Premier League club Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Gaetano Castrovilli from Fiorentina in a reported €12 million deal. The 26-year-old midfielder is thought to already be on his way to England to complete a club medical later today, ahead of the transfer.
Sky Sport Italia transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Cherries are expected to pay around €12m plus additional bonuses for the versatile midfielder.
Castrovilli spent his youth career with Bari before being signed by La Viola in 2017, immediately being loaned out to Cremonese in Serie B.
He returned to Florence in 2019, and was included in coach Vincenzo Montella’s first team plans, going on to make his Serie A debut against Napoli later that year
The Italy international made 125 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 13 goals over four seasons.
