Juventus have reportedly been in contact with Ligue 1 side OGC Nice to ask about the availability of Jean-Clair Todibo. The Old Lady are in the market for an additional centre-back after veteran defender Leonardo Bonucci was dropped from the first team and told he will not feature next season.
French outlet RMC Sport claim that Juve have turned their attentions to Todibo, and that there has been initial contact between the two clubs to discuss potential terms.
According to the report, the Bianconeri are looking to get Todibo on loan for the next season with an option to sign him outright in 2024 for €30m fee.
It seems more likely that the Bianconeri could get him on loan with an option to buy rather than pay the full , as he is under contract until June 2027.
Todibo has already had an eventful career, starting out at Toulouse before making a move to Barcelona in 2019. Various loan spells included included Schalke, Benfica and Nice, who opted to sign him outright in 2021 for a reported €8.5 million fee.
