Legendary Parma, Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has confirmed his retirement from football. Largely considered to be one of the greatest keepers of all time, the 45-year-old spent the last two seasons back at Parma, the club where he first rose to prominence. The veteran had agreed a contract extension until 2024 but confirmed that he has made the decision to retire. A post on his social media account highlighted his incredible career:
