Inter are still looking for another striker to bolster their attack and have turned to West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca. The Nerazzurri had been in talks with Arsenal for young talent Folarin Balogun, but the Gunners asking price is considered too high for Inter.
Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano now report that the Nerazzurri have made a first bid to sign Azzurri international Scamacca, offering West Ham around €20 million to sign the youngster outright.
The offer is thought to be acceptable to the Premier League club, but Scamacca is still holding out for Roma to make a bid, having recently said that he would like to work with coach Jose Mourinho.
The 24-year-old made the switch to the Hammers last summer but struggled for form before suffering from an injury that sidelined him for a large portion of the campaign.
