PSG have joined the race to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, but the player is reportedly keen on joining Manchester United. The Premier League side have already made an opening bid, thought to be in the region of €60 million in total, but La Dea are yet to accept the proposal.
L’Equipe and The Athletic report today that PSG have offered €50m for Hojlund, while Atalanta are holding out for closer to €70 million.
The reports also claim that the Parisians are prepared to walk away from the deal, if their opening bid is not accepted.
News of PSG’s offer may push United into action, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the Premier League side have scheduled a new round of talks with Atalanta for Højlund.
The transfer journalist also details how the new offer could be higher than the previous €60 million package, with Hojlund giving his priority to joining United.
