Juventus winger Filip Kostic hopes teammate Dusan Vlahovic recovers from his injury very soon: ‘He is a very important player for Juventus.’ The Bianconeri face off against Serie A rivals Milan in the US later this evening, and ahead of the match, Kostic spoke about his Serbian compatriot and his experiences of the pre-season training camp:
“We have been here in California for a few days. We’ve been traveling a lot, but it’s good to be here. We have everything we need to prepare for next season, everything is perfect.
“Vlahovic? He is better, however, he had to do differentiated work in this first part of preseason. I hope he can return to the team as soon as possible: he is very positive and focused on recovery, for the team he is a very important player.”
“We are training a lot, we are doing everything we need to prepare in the best possible way for the new season. Everything is going well, the game with Milan is a friendly, but we want to win to start in the right way. We are trying to do the best to be ready for the championship: we know we have to improve. And we know that Milan is a very good team and has great quality. But we also have quality and we are compact.
“The match against Barcelona was skipped, we wanted to play, then we know what happened. Now we have the game against Milan and then the one against Real to be ready for the start of the season. The challenge against Real Madrid? It will certainly be important, we want to win for us and also for Serie A. Juventus is the biggest club in Italy and we want to represent Italy in the best way in every game.”
