Salernitana’s Lassana Coulibaly is a target for Napoli this summer as they look to bolster their midfielder ahead of the new season. The Partenopei have lost the services of Tanguy Ndombele after his loan came to an end, with the Frenchman opting to return to Spurs rather than try and make his move to Naples permenent.
Sky Sport Italia transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that having confirmed the transfer of Kim Min-Jae to Bayern Munich, Napoli are now at work to strengthen their midfield options by making some investments in the transfer market.
Coulibaly is being considered as an option to add some legs to the centre of pitch, given that Napoli are currently down to just André-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Piotr Zielinski, Diego Demme and Stanislav Lobotka in midfield.
Di Marzio reports that Napoli are expected to approach Salernitana in the coming days to start negotiating a deal.
