Milan are finalising the signing of Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, with reports from Italy suggesting the deal is almost done. The Rossoneri are on a spending spree this week, having completed the signing of Tijani Reijnders while also closing in on a deal for Salzburg striker Noah Okafor.
Sky Sport Italia, Relevo and a host of others all report on the same lines, suggesting that Milan are into the closing stages of agreeing a deal for 24-year-old Nigeria international Chukwueze.
The ever reliable Gianluca Di Marzio says the deal is almost complete, while Diario AS journalist Manu Sainz outlines that the transfer is expected to cost a fixed fee of €20 million and a further €10 million in add-ons.
Chukwueze has been with Villarreal since 2017, having come up through their youth set-up and into the first team. The 2022-23 campaign was his most prolific to date, scoring 13 goals in 50 appearances across all competitions.
