Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao now looks set to join Atalanta after his saw his move to Fenerbahce fall apart at the last minute. The 27-year-old Brazilian had been set to join the Turkish Super Lig side after Udinese agreed a transfer fee, but the move collapsed due to a disagreement on personal terms.
Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio now reports that Atalanta are pressing ahead in their efforts to sign Becao, and talks are already at an advanced stage.
The players agent is expected to iron out personal terms in the coming days, with a move expected to be completed very soon after.
Becao joined Udinese in 2019 after a brief loan stint with CSKA Moscow and has gone on to become a mainstay in the backline, scoring 6 goals in 130 appearances for the I Friulani.
