Torino and Atalanta are closely following Udinese centre-back Rodrigo Becao whose contract with Udinese expires in 2024.
Sky Sport Italia report that the two clubs have joined the race for the for the 27-year-old who arrived in the Italian league in the summer of 2019 from Bahia.
Becao’s situation is reportedly a tricky one since the player’s contract with Udinese is due to expire in 12 months and at the moment it’s doesn’t look likely to be extended beyond 2024.
In four years in the Udinese shirt, Becao has put together a total of 130 appearances between Serie A and Coppa Italia, along with six goals and three assists.
Incidentally, the Brazilian, who also previously played for CSKA Moscow on loan from Bahia, also scored in his first match in Italy, against Marco Giampaolo’s Milan, and repeated the feat against the same opponent on the first day of Serie A 2022-2023.
It remains to be seen whether his adventure can continue in Italy, with Torino and Atalanta both looking for a profile in that role. Besides the two Italian clubs, Fenerbahce are also following the defender.
