West Ham are expected to make their first bid of around €18 million to sign Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria. The Swiss international is considered surplus to requirements at Continassa and is expected to be sold in the summer transfer window. Zakaria had spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan with Chelsea, but the Blues opted not to make the move permanent.
Sky Sport Italia report that West Ham are the strongest contenders to sign the 26-year-old and have already held talks with the Bianconeri.
The news channel claim that the Hammers are going to present an €18 million offer to Juventus tomorrow, however the Old Lady value him at closer to €25 million.
Despite the differences in valuation, the two clubs are expected to reach a compromise in the coming week.The transfer could open up the opportunity for the Bianconeri to finally make an offer to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Mikinkovic-Savic, one of their main targets to bolster the squad this summer.
