Juventus linked with Kostic move

Start

Juventus are being linked with a move for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostić as they look to reinforce for next season. The club are already close to agreeing a move for Argentine winger Angel Di Maria as they are reportedly keen on switching to a 4-3-3 system for next season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the departure of Federico Bernardeschi and Paulo Dybala will leave gaps in the wide areas of the attack, while Federico Chiesa is not expected to return until October.

With this in mind, Di Maria is the first target for the attack with Ivan Perisic being courted, should he fail to agree a contract extension with Inter in the summer.

Another name being linked is 29-year-old Kostic, the international teammate of Dusan Vlahovic who is fresh from winning the Europa League with Frankfurt.

Gazzetta reports that last summer he was close to joining Lazio and is represented by agent Alessandro Lucci, someone Juve have excellent relations with, given he represents Juan Cuadrado, Leonardo Bonucci and Mattia Perin.

Kostic still has a year left on his contract with the Bundesliga side and is attracted offers from the Premier League as his ‘dream’ is to play in the Champions League.

Juve are yet to make an official approach, but should Perisic renew with Inter, they will reportedly make an offer in the region of €15 million for the Serbian winger.
