Adrien Rabiot looks ever more likely to remain with Juventus next season, with reports suggesting he is open to a contract renewal. The Frenchman has a deal with the Bianconeri until the end of the month before he becomes a free agent. Talks have reportedly taken place multiple times over a new deal for the 28-year-old, but he has stalled on giving a definitive answer.
Sky Sport now report that there’s optimism on Juve reaching a new deal with the midfielder, with the Bianconeri expected to offer him the same financial deal as he currently earns.
At most, it’s expected to be a one-year extension which would help the club immensely, given their lack of European football next season. Sky Sport transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio writes:
“Juventus therefore hopes to retain one of the most important midfielders of the last season, with eight goals scored in Serie A, and three more between the Champions League and Europa League. The Bianconeri are confident about getting Adrien Rabiot’s definitive yes: we are almost there, the Frenchman is very close to renewing with Juventus.”
