Agent Rafaela Pimenta revealed that Marco Verratti is considering his future amid links to Saudi clubs, while Paul Pogba ‘didn’t go on holiday’ in order to focus on Juventus. The super-agent was speaking with Sky Sport Italia at the Golden Boy presentation ceremony and offered an update on a number of her clients, including Frenchman Pogba who is recovering from a string of injury setbacks:
“The market has just started, let’s not mess with it! Anything I had to say about my guys would create chaos, so to avoid problems I won’t say anything. We need 2-3 weeks to understand the various movements, it’s still early. Verratti in Italy? He plays in the national team, more Italian than that. Right now he is on vacation and we are not thinking about his future, then we will see.”
“Pogba? Paul is working a lot, I know you follow him on social media, he has not had a day off. He comes back on the 2nd and will be available to Juve. It doesn’t weigh on him not having had a vacation, he is very motivated.”
“Saudi Arabia? I really appreciate these offers, we have to respect the Saudi League clubs. The fact that they spend this money means that they have concrete plans.”
“Mkhitaryan? He still has a year left on his contract with Inter, but obviously we will talk with the club to understand the project on the player.
