Napoli have begun talks with Empoli for attacking midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi who is valued at €15 million. The 20-year-old enjoyed a breakout season in the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 4 goals in 27 appearances for the Azzurri, earning the attention of a number of Serie A sides.

Relations between the two sides are excellent, and the the newspaper reports that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has had his eye on Baldanzi for some time now.
Napoli see the talented youngster as a prospective long-term replacement for Piotr Zielinski, who could leave the club in the coming weeks, with Premier League clubs particularly keen on him.
