Juventus are still interested in Chelsea midfielder Jorginho this summer, despite being linked with Paul Pogba. The Bianconeri are looking for midfield upgrades as they plan to overhaul their squad ahead of the new season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juventus director Federico Cherubini was in London in recent days to discuss a potential move for Paul Pogba, but that wasn’t his only business.
According to the report, Cherubini also met with Chelsea to discuss the possibility of signing midfielder Jorginho, a player they have wanted in Turin for some time.
The suggestion is that Juve would look to sign the Italian international alongside Pogba in an effort to rebuild what is seen as an underperforming midfield.
The Bianconeri have had a long-standing agreement with the player and his agent, however talks are now beginning in earnest with Chelsea to see if a move can be agreed.
