Juventus are working to terminate the contract of left-back Alex Sandro, just weeks after it was automatically extended. The Brazilian international had a deal with the club until June 30, but certain performance related targets were achieved in the 2022-23 campaign, meaning he earned an automatic one-year extension until 2024.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano now reports that the Bianconeri are at work to try and terminate the deal, allowing Sandro to leave as a free-agent this summer.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio previously reported that Turkish Super-Lig side Galatasaray are interested in signing Sandro in the next transfer window.
The 32-year-old has been in Turin since 2015, making 309 appearances for the Old Lady, scoring 15 goals along the way.
