Inter are expected to step up their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie after the Champions League final. The Ivorian international has been on the Nerazzurri’s radar for a little while now, with reports linking him with the club at the start of the year.
BarcaTimes report that Sky Sport sources have informed them of Inter’s interest in Kessie, reporting that the Milanese club are set to step-up their pursuit of the player after next weeks Champions League final against Manchester City.
According to their sources, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is a big fan of the player, having already tried to sign him when Kessie played for city rivals Milan.
The 26-year-old joined Barcelona on a free transfer last summer but has failed to settle into the team, becoming a fringe player for much of the 2022-23 season.
